ItwasthenthattheBeastappeared.Itwasthesizeofasmallhouse,coveredinscragglyfur,witheyesthatglowedredinthedarkness.Ithadclawsthesizeofswordsandteeththatdrippedwithblood.Thevillagerswereparalyzedwithterror.Theythoughttheyweregoingtodie. TheBeastattackedthatnight.Itroaredandclaweditswaythroughthevillage,destroyingeverythinginitspath.Thefewvillagerswhomanagedtosurvivetheonslaughtfledtothenearbytown,warningthemofthemonsterthathaddestroyedtheirhome.

TheFinalShowdown

Thetown'speopleralliedtogether,determinedtoendthethreatoftheBeastonceandforall.Theyconstructedtrapsandweapons,devisedastrategy,andsetoffintotheforesttofindthecreature.TheHunter,whohadbeenmissingformonths,wasfoundaliveintheforest.Hewasbadlyinjured,butstilldeterminedtofacethemonsterthathadalmostkilledhim. Thefinalbattlewasepic.ThevillagersandtheHunterfoughtfiercely,buttheBeastwastoopowerful.Itshruggedofftheirblowsandattackedwithferocity.TheHunterwasthefirsttofall,hisinjuriestoogreattowithstandtheonslaught.Thevillagersfoughton,butsoontheytoowereexhaustedandinjured.Itseemedlikeallwaslost. Then,alittlegirl,asurvivorfromthedestroyedvillageofRavenswood,steppedforward.Shewassmallandfrail,buthereyesburnedwithafiercedetermination.ShehadlosteverythingtotheBeastandshewasnotgoingtoletitwin. Withabattlecry,thelittlegirlchargedattheBeast.Shedodgeditsclawsandleaptontoitsback.SheplungedadaggerthathadbeengiventoherbytheHunterdeepintotheBeast'sneck.Themonsterroaredinpainandthrashedwildly,butthelittlegirlheldon.
