Chapter1:TheRiseofSpiderKing
TheSpiderKing,alsoknownasArachne,rosetopowerinthedarkforestsofArachnia.Hewasthelargestandstrongestspideramonghiskin,andhepossessedarareabilitytospinwebsofincrediblestrengthandcomplexity.Ashisreputationgrew,sodidhisinfluenceamonghisfellowarachnids.Hebecametheirleader,theirprotector,andtheirking.
UnderArachne'srule,thespidercommunitythrived.Theyhuntedandgatheredwithrenewedvigor,andtheydefendedtheirterritorywithferocityunmatchedbyanyotherspeciesintheforest.Arachne'stacticalgeniusandhisuncannyabilitytopredicthisenemies'movesmadehimaformidableopponenttoanywhodaredchallengehim.
Astimepassed,Arachne'sspiderkingdomexpandedbeyondtheforestandintothesurroundingareas.Hissubjectswereeverywhere,andhispowerwasabsolute.EventhecreaturesthatoncepreyeduponspidersnowcoweredandfledatthemerementionoftheSpiderKing.
Chapter2:TheSpiderKing'sFall
Despitehispowerandinfluence,theSpiderKingwasnotinvincible.Hisdownfallcameintheformofaninvadingarmyofhumans.Armedwithweaponsthatthespidershadneverseenbefore,thehumansmarchedintotheforest,destroyingeverythingintheirpath.Thespidersfoughtbravely,buttheirwebswerenomatchforgunsandexplosives.
TheSpiderKingknewthatdefeatwasinevitable.Ratherthansufferahumiliatingend,heretreatedintotheheartofhiskingdomanddisappearedwithoutatrace.Hisfollowerswereleftwithoutaleader,andchaosreignedinthespidercommunity.Manyspiderswerecapturedorkilledbythehumans,andthosethatremainedwereforcedtoscatterandhide.
Yearspassed,andthespiders'memoriesoftheironce-greatkingbegantofade.Theylivedinfearandsolitude,waitingforthedaywhentheycouldreclaimtheirformerglory.
Chapter3:TheReturnoftheSpiderKing
ThatdayfinallycamewhenArachneemergedfromtheshadowsonceagain.Hehadsurvivedthehumaninvasionbygoingintohidingandslowlyrebuildinghisstrengthandarmy.Hehadlearnedfromhismistakesandhaddevelopednewtacticstocounterthehumans'weapons.Hewasreadytoreclaimhisthrone.
Thespidersralliedbehindtheirking,andtogethertheylaunchedasurpriseattackonthehumanencampment.Theyoverwhelmedthehumanswiththeirsheernumbersandtheirferociousness,andtheyreclaimedtheforestastheirown.
Arachnehadprovenhimselftobeatrueleader,onewhowouldstopatnothingtoprotecthiskingdomandhissubjects.HehadrisenfromdefeattobecometheSpiderKingoncemore,andhewouldrulewithwisdomandcourageformanyyearstocome.
Andso,thelegendoftheSpiderKinglivedon,aremindertoallwhowoulddarecrosshispaththattherewasnogreaterenemythanthearachnidwhoreignedsupremeinthedarkforestsofArachnia.
